Hi, I’m Ben.

(Benjamin when I’ve been bad).

I’m an advertising creative living in Auckland. I’m passionate about many things, but I’m probably most well known for ads, cats, and beer. Not necessarily always in that order. I’ve been a creative and a copywriter for over 20 years, and a creative director for the last 10 or so. My latest stint was over 12 years at DDB, primarily looking after McDonald’s and AA Insurance. I’ve been lucky enough to work on some really big brands, and some super small ones, at some great agencies with some incredibly nice people. There have been plenty of gongs and accolades during that time, and hopefully I’ve helped make some young creatives better.

(The last bit is anecdotal, don’t quote me.)
